The Association of Water Professionals of Quebec (APDEQ) was officially launched at the show FIHOQ 2011. The new association aims to recruit, regroup and train professionals certified in aquatic facilities and management of rainwater.

This idea stems from the desire to overcome the lack of resource for professionals in the field and provide technical support and ongoing training to its members. This association aims to become the benchmark for professional development in freshwater aquatic and recovery of rainwater in Quebec by requiring contractors to meet quality standards of their facilities.
