Rainwater Catchment Accredited Professional (AP) Workshop
Carrillo Recreation Center Meeting Room
100 East Carrillo St
Santa Barbara, CA, 93101
The American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA) and The City of Santa Barbara, California are pleased to offer a comprehensive Rainwater Catchment Accredited Professional training course
AP two day workshop Thursday, Friday July 10&11, 2014
This two day AP-level workshop is an in-depth rainwater-harvesting course required for those seeking ARCSA Accredited Professional (AP) status. This course provides attendees with knowledge for rainwater harvesting, both active and passive design and installation for both outdoor and in-home rainwater use; sanitation for potable uses; rules and regulations, guidelines and restrictions; business management; project planning; site and installation safety; and system construction and maintenance. The course will follow the Texas A&M University "Rainwater Harvesting Planning” manual, which is included in the course tuition. Larger commercial systems will also be covered.
With the ongoing water crisis in California, this workshop will focus on the central and southern coast and coast range. We hope to draw from not only Santa Barbara, but also would like to encourage those living on the water islands of Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.
You can’t use it if you don’t store it.
Sign up early to ensure seating.
Lunch is provided both days.
Tuition is $395.00. If you want to become an accredited Professional, (AP) there is an additional $150.00 testing fee and ARCSA membership is required
You can register on the ARCSA web page at www.arcsa.org
