As a Demonstration of Its Commitment to Transparency
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - August 11, 2014
Today, the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA.org) attained the GuideStar Exchange Silver participation level, a leading symbol of nonprofit transparency and accountability provided by GuideStar USA, Inc. This achievement demonstrates ARCSA's deep commitment to nonprofit transparency and accountability.
"We have worked hard to fulfill our mission while being transparent about our work," said ARCSA President David Crawford. "We are pleased to use the GuideStar Exchange platform to share up-to-date information about our work with our supporters and with GuideStar's impressive online audience of philanthropic organizations, grant makers, individual donors and the media."
"I encourage you to check out our profile on GuideStar to see what we're all about," added ARCSA’s Executive Director, Heather Kinkade. "We are engaged in exciting initiatives like publishing the nation’s first comprehensive rainwater harvesting manual, making rainwater-harvesting resources available through the ARCSA Resource Guide and our annual conference to be held in Phoenix this November. We are thrilled to have another platform for communicating our vision and progress."
The Mission of ARCSA is to promote sustainable rainwater harvesting practices to help solve potable, non-potable, stormwater and energy challenges throughout the world.
ARCSA is gathering funds to complete the aforementioned national rainwater harvesting manual and is soliciting tax-deductible donations for that and general operational purposes. In addition, we have many sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
