FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 6, 2015
ARCSA Reaches GuideStar Gold Status for Its Commitment to Transparency
ARCSA achieved the GuideStar Exchange Gold participation level, a leading symbol of transparency and accountability provided by GuideStar USA, Inc., the premier source of non-profit information, http://www.guidestar.org/. This level demonstrates ARCSA’s deep commitment to transparency and accountability.
As a GuideStar Exchange participant, ARCSA uses this platform to share a wealth of up-to-date information about our work to our supporters and GuideStar's immense online audience of non-profits, grant-makers, individual donors, and the media.
The ARCSA Board encourages you to check out its profile on GuideStar and learn all about ARCSA. ARCSA is engaged in exciting new initiatives, and are thrilled to have another platform for communicating its advancements and progress.
Through the national and international work of ARCSA’s Board of Directors and its members, representing government, academia, trade groups, and industry, ARCSA is helping to transform a local and renewable water resource into a global solution for water challenges. This transformation is helping to create jobs, to boost local economies, to improve water quality of receiving waters, and to reduce the dependence on strained municipal clean water supplies.
The mission of the 501(c)3 nonprofit American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA.org) is to promote sustainable rainwater harvesting practices to help solve potable, non-potable, stormwater and energy challenges throughout the world. Harvesting rain does not diminish downstream supplies, but merely “borrows” it along the way.
ARCSA is gathering funds, experts and technical writers to create a national rainwater-harvesting training program and is soliciting tax-deductible donations. For more information, please contact Heather Kinkade, Executive Director ARCSA, at 512-617-6528 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
