Purpose of catchment (household reuse, landscaping, etc): Flushing 60 bathroom fixtures
Describe the catchment and collection system, including total capacity (please include brands and suppliers as well as associated costs if available): System is collecting from a 48,000 sq.ft. roof area. Has the collection potential of approx.. 1.67 M usg per year.
Conveyance: 2 – 6” rainwater leaders with GRAF Optimax Industrial Filters w/ cleaning nozzles.
Storage: 8000 USG.Snyder Heavy Weight ASTM rated tank. Tank has 3 calming inlets and city water makeup with air gap. Engineered concrete slab with seismic tie down system and protective fence.
Delivery and treatment (if any): Delivery is by a Grundfoss duplex booster pump system. There is no treatment at all and water in the toilets is always crystal clear. Water is kept fresh through aeration form the calming inlets and high water turnover rates. One tank full of water per day will be used during events
Special features: 3 – internal calming inlets and air gap for city water makeup.
