Ecological Concerns Incorporated and Central Coast Wilds native plant nursery is excited to welcome to their staff landscape architect Bobby Markowitz, ASLA. Since 1990, Bobby's firm Earthcraft Landscape Design has been designing beautiful integrated landscapes using water-wise design and rainwater catchment systems. By incorporating his skills and expertise, ECI will be better able to address design issues critical to the important topic of water conservation in a variety of landscape and natural lands management situations.

The rising costs and diminishing supplies of municipal water has increased demand for sustainable design solutions. Bobby's experience with closed loop design, storm water management, rainwater harvesting systems, site planning and project management is a welcome addition to ECI's ecological design team.

Check out Bobby's recent rainwater catchment design at the Gateway Apartments in Salinas or other projects at Earthcraft Design's website.
