Purpose of catchment (household reuse, landscaping, etc): Subsoil irrigation.

 

Describe the catchment and collection system, including total capacity (please include brands and suppliers as well as associated costs if available): System is collecting from 4 of the 6 downspouts on a 1125 sq. ft. roof.

 

Conveyance: Conveyance from downspouts to filter is 4” S/D Pipe. System utilizes a Wisy™ Vortex 100 for first flush and pre-storage filtration.

 

Storage: Water is stored in 1550 gallon aboveground Norwesco tank. Water enters the tank through a Wisy™ smoothing inlet and exits through a Wisy™ floating filter intake.

 

Delivery and treatment (if any): Water is pressurized to subsoil irrigation system by a submersible pump.

 

Special features: System includes a Rainwater Resources™ Capacity Regulator™ to allow groundwater recharge over a 72 hour period during non-irrigating months.
