Purpose of catchment (household reuse, landscaping, etc): All household water.

 

Describe the catchment and collection system, including total capacity (please include brands and suppliers as well as associated costs if available): System is collecting from a 4000 Sq Ft rooftop.

 

Conveyance: Conveyance from downspouts to filter is 4” and 6” S-40. System utilizes a Wisy™ Vortex 150 for first-flush and pre-storage filtration.

 

Storage: Water is stored in 3 - 1700 gallon underground Snyder tanks. Water enters the tank through a Wisy™ smoothing inlet and exits through a Wisy™ floating filter intake.

 

Delivery and treatment (if any): Water is pressurized to the house using a Goulds submersible pump. Treatment is through a 5 micron sediment filter followed by a 1 micron sediment filter followed by a .2 micron carbon block filter followed by a Triton, 12 GPM, UV disinfecting system.

 

Special features: System includes a liquid level indicator and an automated municipal water crossover controlled by a float switch inside the tank.
